FLY IN CG

Many people know us as “Fly In CG”. American Aeronautics is the creation and invention of aerospace engineer and pilot Daniel Scharf. It was established in 1981 offering vector calculators for every aircraft made. Since that time we have created calculators for thousands of aircraft while creating and maintaining an enormous database of aircraft weight and balance information and histories. We have also developed a software version of our system called iFly Weight and Balance which has grown in popularity at a rate much like our plotters and graphs.

We manufacture all of our plotters and graphs on site from anodized aircraft grade aluminum where each calculator is made to order to exact aircraft specifications. The quality and accuracy is checked on every calculator before it is shipped from our facilities in Northeastern Illinois. Our software is developed with a unique rapid application development cycle that allows us to customize high quality affordable software to meet the needs of our clients.
