Marcus Pedersen

Marcus Pedersen is a Danish design company specialised in designing, developing and manufacturing products and furniture for airports and public areas. We provide comprehensive and integrated solutions that are characterised by high quality, aesthetics, and functionality that corresponds with the modern user’s needs.

We want to create tomorrow’s user experiences in airports by designing and developing the next generation of products that the passengers interact with on their way through the airport.

We care about the environment, and we only use materials and production processes that do not impact the environment in any unnecessary way. Furthermore, our products are all manufactured in Denmark, and in most cases we use local subsuppliers.

Our work is conducted in the cross-field between design, engineering and craftsmanship, where the capabilities are represented by a young, multidisciplinary team. We believe in a user-centered design process, and we always involve the end-users in our projects from initial research to prototype testing.

For the first four years, our office was located inside an airport terminal, and we observed and talked to passengers and airport staff every day. We are still daily or weekly visitors in airports, and we know a lot about future needs and tendencies. Combined with a great insight into new materials and production technologies, high aesthetic standards, and uncompromising attention to detailing, we always reach the finish line with new and innovative solutions.
