All commercial airlines transporting passengers are obliged to collect and provide API to the border authorities of Finland. API information is required for all flights to and from Finland that originate or terminate in an airport located in a country outside of the Schengen Area. API-data transmitted to the Finnish border authorities is received and handled by the Finnish Border Guard (FBG).
