IS-Self Check-In Kiosk C3
IS-SelfChekin kiosk helps passengers to register for the flight independently and to print their boarding passes.
The kiosks are used for relieving stress off check-in technological zones and reducing lines at check-in counters.
Installation of the kiosks helps:
• To separate passengers without baggage out of the whole passengers’ flow
• To reduce lines at check-in counters
• To separate technological stages of check-in and baggage dropping off
• To lower costs of passenger service
sage of check-in kiosks helps to use existing terminal’s resources more efficiently. It is recommended to use kiosks in limited space environments where it is necessary to separate passengers’ flows and technological operations of check-in and baggage dropping off. Properly organized technology of passenger terminal with kiosks of self-check-in enables to reduce length of lines at check-in counters up to 50% of peak value.
Simulation modelling helps to find proper number of check-in counters, IS-BagDrop counters, self-check-in counters and to place them in the most optimal way in the passenger terminal.
