The BRS provides easy reconciliation of departing passengers with departing baggage to guarantee that baggage start and finish their journey with the passenger.
The application uses wireless barcode scanners allowing employees to pinpoint the exact location of any piece of luggage during loading and unloading. The intention is to reduce mishandled baggage by tracking each piece of baggage and maintaining records of there handling of each piece of baggage.
The system provides for the management of the main three types of baggage
- Local baggage
- Transfer baggage
- Rush baggage
